2.3.2015. 00h

All the cities and municipalities in Serbia have to start applying unified procedure for issuing construction permits as of 1st March 2015 – it was specified on the presentation of the Amendments to the Law on Planning and Construction, held at hotel "Mona" at the mountain of Zlatibor. On the event organized by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities and USAID Serbia, it was repeated that the issuing of construction permits had lasted too long. The Unified Procedure (i.e One-stop-shop), as the latest innovation of the Law, will contribute to the acceleration and efficiency of these procedures.

"We will educate ourselves in order to completely move to electronic data interchange as of 1st January 2016, said Aleksandra Damnjanovic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, who also emphasized that, generally very short deadlines prescribed by the amended Law, would be completely respected.
Presentation of good practice example "Establishing of Unified Procedure in the Municipality of Cajetina" was held on the event. Establishing of coordination between the Municipality, public enterprises and Real Estate Cadaster, with the help of specialized softwares for unified procedure and e-Registry of administrative procedures, was shown during the presentation. Implementation of Unified Procedure in Cajetina is implemented through the project realized by the Municipality of Cajetina, Regional Development Agency "Zlatibor" and OPTIMUS- Center for Good Governance, financed by the Swiss Government.
