Promotion of E-Registry of administrative procedures in Gornji Milanovac was held on October 10, 2014. The goal was to familiarize the businesses people and citizens with the previous results of the Project “Improving Environment for Businesses at Local Level through Regulatory Reform” as well as with the new online service enabling them to have insight into administrative procedures implemented by the Municipal Administration.
In his opening lines, the Mayor Milisav Mirkovic, paid respects to all participants in the Project who took an active part throughout the previous year in simplifying and improving administrative procedures and setting up an electronic registry. The electronic registry will provide the parties with faster and easier submission of requests and obtaining decisions from the municipal authorities, noted Mr. Mirkovic.
While informing the attendees about the most important Project results, Zoran Drinjakovic, the Head of Housing, Utility and Urban-Planning Department and Project Coordinator, emphasized that the implementation of regulatory reform, among other things, led to the reduction of documents and ex-officio obtaining of documents was introduced for 69% of administrative procedures, deadlines were reduced in 96% of administrative procedures while standardized form was introduced for over 80% of procedures. Through the implementation of reformed administrative procedures the business sector will save over 4.5 million EUR on an annual level. Municipal Administration will greatly improve its efficiency, transparency and quality of work owing to the usage of electronic registry.
Ms. Katarina Milanovic, Deputy Director of OPTIMUS, presented the electronic registry on the official website of the municipality of Gornji Milanovac http://www.gornjimilanovac.rs/. She demonstrated the possibilities of the Registry search and illustrated that through the example of an administrative procedure with all the information it contains.
The electronic registry will enable all businesses and citizens to get the information on procedures for obtaining permits, approvals, consents or decisions in a faster and easier manner. Besides information related to administrative procedures, businesses and citizens can also download or fill out the request forms for all administrative procedures online.
