Vidoje Petrović, Mayor of Loznica, adopted on March 26th the Decision on Adoption of Recommendations for Improving and Simplifying Administrative Procedures in the City of Loznica, which was firstly accepted in whole at the Work group session held on January 31st 2014. Apart from being in the best interest of the economy and the citizens of Loznica, the improvement and simplification of administrative procedures are also beneficial for the potential local and foreign investors.

Loznica City Council adopted on March 3rd 2014 the Conclusion that legally binds the organizational units of the City Administration to obtain and exchange documents ex officio through immediate cooperation, so that the client has no longer the responsibility to submit these documents. On that occasion the Mayor informed the members of the City Council on the activities that have been carried out so far, and expressed his great satisfaction with the cooperation with OPTIMUS. It was agreed that the members of OPTIMUS are going to give a presentation during the following month for the members of the Council so as to familiarize them with the completed activities. City Council authorized the Head of Administration to adopt the Book of Rules which will more closely deal with issues relevant to the rationalization of the Loznica City Administration.

Milojka Smiljanić, the Head of City Administration, adopted the Book of Rules on April 9th 2014. This Book of Rules defines more closely the relations between departments and other organizational units in the City Administration and the way of implementation of administrative procedures, deadlines for submission, processing and solving the cases, as well as the other issues relevant to the rationalization of the Loznica City Administration.
