Achieved results up to date and next steps if the project implementation were discussed at the meeting. City of Kraljevo begins the third phase of the project which includes the adoption of a set of recommendations for the simplification of administrative procedures that should improve business environment.

- “Simplification of administrative procedures will primarily facilitate existing businesses and potential investors, who should in short term, with few procedures and lower costs, come to a positive business result. The practice so far shows that clients used to wait up to 120 days to obtain some permits - we will try to reduce this period at 7 working days. We will also, with the help of memorandum of cooperation, ensure that public companies issue documents in a shorter period of time"- Head of the City Administration, Milos Petrovic said.

According to the analysis conducted by the OPTIMUS - Center for Good Governance, the City of Kraljevo also implements some expensive administrative procedures comparing to other local governments that also implement regulatory reform. Regarding that, the Mayor of the City of Kraljevo, Dragan Jovanovic said - "We want to assure that citizens and entrepreneurs exercise their rights using less complicated procedures."-

Katarina Milanovic added to that – “We focus on businesses in this project are and we plan to reduce waiting time and costs they are having. Moreover, work of OPTIMUS is focused at supporting small and medium enterprises and enhancement of the business environment.-
