Beginning of the third phase of the Project and training for members of Working Group in Novi Pazar

The first two phases of the project have been successfully completed In Novi Pazar. All administrative procedures have been inventoried, and consultation with the business sector was pursued in order to collect recommendations for the improvement of administrative procedures. A project Working Group will work on a following analysis of administrative procedures and preparation of recommendations for their simplification, with competent assistance of OPTIMUS. Based on the given criteria, detailed analysis of each administrative procedure related to the legality, necessity, and benefits for businesses will be performed.
The Working Group will decide on recommendations to streamline and improve administrative procedures and suggest the competent authorities to adopt city’s legal acts as well as to prepare a proposal for amending state regulations.
In order to enable the Working Group members to actively participate in the analysis and the establishment of recommendations, the training on analysis and recommendations’ preparation was held on 16 April. Besides the Working Group members, the training was attended by public employees in order to ensure better preparation of recommendations.
Participants provided constructive proposals related to the reduction of the deadline for the case resolution and provision of documentation ex officio. Sead Malovic, Head of the GIS, suggested that the Protocol on Cooperation, signed between the City, public companies and institutions with the purpose of opening the issuance of building permits, should be used as the basis for information exchange, ex officio.
Working Group will consider the specific recommendations, which will be sent to the authorities for approval at the following meetings.
