Dr. Meho Mahmutovic awarded recognition „Misa Anastasijevic“ as the most successful Mayor

Recognition "Misa Anastasijevic" is awarded to the best creator in the business and social life within the project "Way to the Top", which is realized by "Invent Media" and the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. Among this year's winners, in the category of efforts in the development of local self-government is also the Mayor of Novi Pazar, Mr. Meho Mahmutović. An official statement quotes that the award was given to "a prominent social and public figure for the largest contribution to the development of the community, taking into account the objective conditions of its functioning." Therefore, the City of Novi Pazar is ranked among the most successful local governments in the Republic of Serbia.
The jury took into consideration the following criteria while making the decision: managerial potential and competency, keeping in mind the achievement of maximum results in minimal conditions of the local governance. Moreover, the efforts to improve the standard of living, despite the financial circumstances of the local community are taken into account.
In addition to Mayor Mahmutovic, award winners are: Aleksandar Vucic - Person of the Year, Ninko Tesic - the Best Manager in 2012, Company NIS - Kiril Kravcenko, the Best Company, Apatin Brewery - Absolute Champion of Serbia 2012th, Jelisaveta Karadjordevic - for the preservation of tradition, charity and humanitarian work.
