One of the important results is the e-Registry of all administrative procedures in which an 'ID card' of each procedure will be made, so that everyone will be able to get information on the person responsible for solving the case and documents that need to be submitted", said Director of OPTIMUS - Center for Good Governance Sladjana Karavdić Kočević, during the meeting with the Mayor of Novi Pazar, Dr. Meho Mahmutović, on occasion of completion of the second phase of the regulatory reform in this City.

Citizens may already notice the results of the Project "Improvement of the Business Environment at Local Level through Regulatory Reform" because the efficiency of work of the City Administration has accelerated", said the Mayor of Novi Pazar, Dr. Meho Mahmutović, during the meeting with the representatives of OPTIMUS.

The Project will result in the reduction of administration costs, increase of transparency and efficiency of the administration and in implementation of regulatory mechanisms for sustainability of reforms.

"The citizens will benefit the most from this Project, as they will see the changes in the administration’s performance in the next 10 months, primarily in contact with the citizens but on other levels as well. It will be much cheaper and faster to complete certain tasks and the result will be a satisfied citizen coming to the City administration, "said Mahmutović.

Regulatory Reform Expert, PredragCvetković, says that costs and waiting time for businesses are expected to decrease through the Project realization in the City of Novi Pazar, thus supporting the economic and industrial development.

"Besides a more efficient and transparent City administration, a significant step forward in creating a more favorable environment for businesses is expected, meaning that entrepreneurs will be in position to complete construction related procedures more smoothly. This will enable a more rapid development of the sector", Cvetković said.
