Entrepreneurs from Novi Pazar participate in the analysis of administrative procedures

In order to remove administrative barriers and improve the business environment, which are the priorities of the City authorities, from 19 to 21st of February, interviews will be organized with businesses and entrepreneurs who have experience with administrative procedures and thus may provide comments and any suggestions on how to simplify the bureaucracy for the benefit of businesses and citizens. This will be done through five focus groups, which will discuss the areas of administrative procedures, as part of regulatory reform, that the City is conducting with the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities and OPTIMUS- Center for Good Governance. The Project is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs.
Administrative regulations that will be discussed in the focus groups are the most expensive and the most common ones, and are divided by the following fields: Tuesday 19th February, from 10:30: Property - legal activities and economic activity, and from 13:00 - The planning and construction, on 20th February at 10:30: Occupying of public spaces, and at 13:00 of the same day Protection of the Environment.
On the last day, Thursday 21 February, starting at 10.30,focus will be on the broader issues. Businesses will share their views on obstacles to business development and provide proposals for overcoming. They will discuss influence local tax administration, inspections, public utilities and business plan documents on businesses and entrepreneurs. For better performance, description of existing procedures will be given to the focus groups members to make easier to spot what they consider to be poor or good practice.
At each focus group six to ten entrepreneurs will be present, who will, with the help of the moderator, lead the constructive dialogue in order to help themselves and the community.
