Kraljevo Starts the Project on Improving Business Environment

On November 19th, the City of Kraljevo, the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM) and OPTIMUS – Center for Good Governance signed the Contract on implementation of the Project „Improving Environment for Businesses at Local Level through Regulatory Reform“. The project, financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), will enable creation of better business environment through simplifying administrative procedures and through savings for businesses in time and money.
By implementing this project the City of Kraljevo is applying the principles of good governance in order to increase the quality of public services. Through the project’s processes, local government shows responsibility towards citizens and business community by providing conditions for economic development and by empowering local administration through increase of efficiency and transparency in work. Choosing to implement this project, the City of Kraljevo also manifests its willingness to involve all interested parties into the mentioned process.
Trainings for public officials and members of the Working Group will be held on December 4th and 5th.
