Optimus - Center for Good Governance

The Project aims to contribute to a better business environment in local communities in Serbia, through simplifying administrative procedures, improving efficiency of public administration, increasing transparency and introducing regulatory mechanisms for sustainability of adopted changes. The Project is financed by Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).

With this Contract, City officials and experts of Optimus will do the mapping and analysis business related administrative procedures in Novi Pazar. Regulatory reform experts will also discuss with business owners and public officials in order to note and analyze their comments and proposals and subsequently prepare recommendations for improving and simplifying procedures that would lead to reduced costs for businesses and higher transparency. In order to keep the positive effects of the Project in future, one of the set objectives is forming regulatory mechanisms for new regulations through introduction of principles for controlling quality of future regulations and establishment of online register of administrative procedures.
