The First Session of the Working Body for Regulatory Reform in Loznica

18.12.2014. 00h

Rules on the e-Registry of administrative procedures predict that Regulatory Body regularly updates Registry and implements the principles of regulatory impact assessment. The Regulatory Body performs all tasks related to the regular updates of the E-Registry and the registration of entry, modification or deletion of administrative procedures, in accordance with changes in laws and regulations.

The first meeting of the Regulatory Body was held on Friday, 12th of December 2014 in Loznica. The session was chaired by Mr. Dejan Markovic, Deputy Head of the City Administration. The session was attended by 13 participants, including all heads and chief of departments.

Deputy Head of the City Administration, Mr. Dejan Markovic said: "In order to allow proper operation of the E-registry, it is necessary that certain number of employees in the City Administration possess a firm level of computer literacy. Therefore, the IT group will in the shortest possible time organize appropriate training."

Also, Mr. Markovic said that he will initiate the competent authority of the City of Loznica to make a decision on the establishment of the Group for internal monitoring in order to continuously monitor the implementation of e-Registry and proper way of its functioning. It is a significant thing for both, the City Administration and the City of Loznica, so the appropriate mechanisms must be provided to monitor compliance with adopted regulations.

This is particularly important, having in mind the recently adopted Law on Amendments to the Law on Planning and Construction that will cause a series of changes in the way of implementation of administrative procedures, and consequently changes in the e-Registry.
