Adopted most of the legal acts for the introduction of recommendations in the legal system of the City of Sombor

Vasa Relic, Deputy Mayor of the City of Sombor, adopted on 23 April 2014, the Decision on Adoption of Recommendations for Improving and Simplifying Administrative Procedures (“Official Gazette of the City of Sombor”, 7/2014). The Decision was preceded by the adoption of the recommendations for improvement of administrative procedures by the Project Working Group on 22 April 2014.
The City Administration was directed to adopt the acts for the implementation of the adopted recommendations as soon as possible so as to create significant savings for the citizens and businesses.
Head of the City Administration Irina Burka Parcetic adopted on 16 May 2014, the Conclusion on Efficiency in Implementation of Administrative Procedures and Establishment of the Registry of Administrative Procedures. In this Conclusion it is stated that the initiated process of rationalization is to be continued and that the City Administration is to enable clients to exercise their rights and legal interests, guided by the principles of efficiency, legality and cost-effectiveness.
The important novelty in the work of the City Administration is the ex-officio obtaining of documentation. The organizational units of the City Administration are now responsible for gathering documentation and information at their disposal for the clients so that the clients no longer have this responsibility. At the same time the realization of procedures is going to be a lot quicker since the deadlines for checking the completeness of the documentation and their resolution are now established.
The establishment of the electronic Registry that contains all the administrative procedures is a significant step forward towards the full transparency of the City Administration work. The Registry of Administrative Procedures is established by the Conclusion of the Head of the City Administration.
The Book of Rules will more closely arrange the rules and the way of functioning of the Registry, introduce the principles of RIA on the city regulations and simplification of administrative procedures, the jurisdiction of the Regulatory body, as well as the other issues significant for the functioning of the Registry.
