“Ex Officio Obtaining of Documentation” training held in Novi Pazar for the heads of the administration, heads of departments and employees of local administration, was aimed to simulate the process of ex officio exchange of documents through internal communication of all organizational units. During the training that took place on April 9th 2014, seventeen participants who implement administrative procedures in the local government roll played ex officio obtaining of documents, having in mind the established deadlines as well as the role each participant will have in the process.
All the documents that are going to be obtained ex officio are defined for each individual procedure in the e-Registry of administrative procedures on the webpage of the City of Novi Pazar. This enables clients to access the information in advance on documents which must be submitted with the request and which documents will be obtained ex-officio by the corresponding authority. Thus, they are freed from the obligation to obtain all the documents necessary for the administrative procedure, and will be able to submit requests faster and with fewer complications.
The adopted Book of Rules on Rationalization of City Administration introduces the obligation for all employees to ex officio obtain the documents issued by other departments through internal communication.
This organization of formal communication between different units of local self-government is beneficial not only for the clients, but it also contributes to the quality and efficiency of the City administration, bringing Novi Pazar closer to complete realization of e-government.
