Working group meeting marks the beginning of the fourth phase of the project "Improving environment for businesses at local level through regulatory reform," during which electronic registry of administrative procedures will be established, so that citizens would, in a transparent manner, have access to administrative procedures implementation. "I expect that by the end of this project, the business sector and citizens of Kraljevo are going to be satisfied with the functioning of the local administration," - said Predrag Cvetkovic, an expert on regulatory reform.

"The effectiveness means that citizens can more easily exercise their rights without unnecessary procedures, and innovation involves new activities implemented by City Administration, that are going to meet some new regulations " - said Mr. Milos Petrovic, Head of the City Administration. Mr. Petrovic also pointed out that City of Kraljevo is one of the few local municipalities in Serbia to implement regulatory reform at the local level.

"It remains to agree on the implementation of what so far has been adopted, which is perhaps the most difficult phase in the implementation of these reforms," - said Mr. Petrovic at the meeting.

This, according to him, would be a way to overcome whatever caused the saying popularly known as "one paper missing". "Now we will obtain this one paper for citizens´ needs, because, ex officio, we’re going to obtain all the documentation, citizens need and the City Administration has at its disposal"- explained Petrovic.

Kraljevo has already adopted Book of rules on the rationalization of the City Administration, which defines responsibilities of all organizational units and officials who are responsible for obtaining documents ex officio, and e e-mail addresses have been created through which the work will be performed. - According to the official website of the City of Kraljevo.
