Consultations with businesses were held in Gornji Milanovac

On Monday, 30th September and Tuesday, 1th October consultations with the business sector were held in Gornji Milanovac. OPTIMUS, in cooperation with the municipality of Gornji Milanovac, organized four focus groups, where businessmen and entrepreneurs had an opportunity to present difficulties and problems encountered during their operation, which are related to the local government and services it provides. Topics that were discussed during the meetings are related to the field of urban planning and construction, occupation of public spaces, environmental protection, agriculture and other economic activities.
Slow resolution of claims, lack of information about the required documentation, extensive documentation to be attached, high costs, "knocking at multiple doors" are some of the complaints of businessmen.
Participants proposed concrete measures to be implemented in order to improve this situation: specifying the period for responding to any request for permit or license issuance, publication of all requested municipal forms on the municipal official website, obtaining documentation ex officio, introduction of one stop-shop system for applications etc.
All proposals of the business community will be taken into account during the preparation of recommendations for the simplification of administrative procedures, which will be presented to the local authorities later on.
