What businessman of Loznica recommended

On Tuesday and Wednesday, 10th and 11th September focus groups were held with participation of businessmen from Loznica. The aim of consultation with the business sector of Loznica is to collect proposals and recommendations in order to improve administrative procedures under the jurisdiction of the local administration. Consultation was attended by 33 participants who had the opportunity to present their proposals on simplifying administrative procedures.
On the first day, focus groups on the topics "Urban planning and Construction" and "Communal area" were held. During the meeting, most objections were related to administrative procedures in the field of construction, e.g. to the current practice in obtaining information about location, construction, and usage permits.
Following problems were highlighted: political influence in the implementation of certain procedures, high costs, long procedures, inadequately educated employees who sometimes require documentation that is not prescribed “but apparently means" etc.
On the second day, focus groups with the theme "Environmental Protection" and "Economy and Agriculture" were held. The discussion about lengthy and complicated procedure that create difficulties for entrepreneurs was in place.
Objections and comments from the business sector will be taken into account when the Working group starts preparing final recommendations for the simplification of administrative procedures.
