The businessmen of Kraljevo proposed simplification of administrative procedures

On Thursday and Friday, the 27th and 28th of June focus groups for businessmen were held, marking the second phase of the project in Kraljevo.
The focus groups were organized in order to obtain the business sector proposals for the removal of administrative barriers. The proposals relate to reduction of taxes and fees, elimination of the documentation that is supposed to accompany the request, improvement and standardization of procedures and shortening of deadlines.
The businessmen of Kraljevo who attended the focus group meetings had the opportunity to present the problems they are facing during the operations, which are related to the work of the local administration.
On the first day the topic of the focus group was "Urban Planning and Construction." Businessmen discussed the procedures which involve obtaining of location permit, certificate of occupancy, building permit, approval for investment maintenance, rehabilitation and reconstruction as well as other approvals for construction. Businessmen mostly complained about the large number of documents necessary for obtaining various permits and the amount of taxes and fees. The topic of the focus group held on the second day was "Occupancy of Public Space." Also, the issues of environmental protection and waste management were discussed.
